Now you can check your Facebook account within an application in your desktop. Facebook Messenger for Windows is a small program that allows you to chat with your Facebook friends, check out the latest updates from their walls and even get quick notifications (applications and events invitations, etc.). For now, it’s a stable application but you might experience some problems because the messenger app it’s being tested by a lot of people.

If you’re at school or work, you can easily dock the Facebook messenger. it means you can minimize the application to the system tray, and with a single click you can restore the program to its original size.
