But these features are already available in Ubuntu and there are many systems in which the Operating Systems boot from the USB. However Microsoft have introduced an addition to this booting my removing the USB so that they could freeze the booting temporarily.

Cloud Integration and App Store

The next feature that is to be introduced in Windows 8 is the synchronization of data with the cloud. But in Ubuntu 11 every user is allowed to store upto 5 GB data freely in the cloud. This data can be used as a backup or for any other reasons. If one requires more space he could pay $2.99 per month for an extra 20 GB. In Windows 8 this feature is to be integrated with SkyDrive and the user can store upto 25 GB. However Windows does not restrict the type of data to be stored in the cloud. Also there is a rumor that an App Store is to be introduced. But this feature is available in all Mac machines and in Ubuntu it is known as the ‘Ubuntu Software Center’. File System

The ReFS( Resilient File System) is the new file system that is about to be introduced. But on closer observation, one could similarities between ReFS and the ZFS( the Z File System) and the Linux-based B-tree file system. But in Windows 8 additional security is provided by introducing B+ trees and checksums. Though Microsoft could claim that they are the first to use ReFS, they cannot hide the striking similarities.

To perform this configuration through Apple’s messaging system, you must follow the following steps:

1. - Select the option “add account”

2. - Select Jabber as type of account

3. - The user should use the following format: user@chat.facebook.com

4. - Enter your password

5. - On Server: chat.facebook.com

6. - In port: 5222
