After almost 6 months, the Dev-Team developed the Jailbreak Untethered for iOS 5.0.1 devices but apparently still does not work very well with iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.
To perform the jailbreak to this version, you must follow the following steps:
1 .- Update iTunes to latest version
2 .- Upgrade your device to iOS 5.0.1 version
3 .- Download the latest version of Redsn0w (Mac OS X or Windows)
4 .- Run Redsn0w and select the option “jailbreak“
5 .- Connect your Apple device and turn it off and put it in DFU mode
6 .- Select the option “Install Cydia“
7 .- And presto, you’ve made ??the classic jailbreak your Apple device with iOS 5.0.1
